Hello,
We are called People More because we treat our employees with respect, but also because the projects we work on are for people and should be easy and pleasant to use. We are technological, but we look at the bigger picture :)
People More has been in existence for over three years and is an offshoot of one of the country's oldest interactive agencies - Insignia. The company is made up of people with a huge client base in the country and abroad, for whom we build projects from scratch (UX, UI, frontend, backend, mobile) or in part. We work directly for our clients and also support our partners in their own solutions. This ensures a wide range of projects and the ability to change! We work with clients all over the world.
For the project we are working on with our foreign partner in the insurance sector, we are looking for a Transition Manager.
Your duties will include:
- Project Management: Lead the end-to-end migration process of various business services
Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders, including business units, IT teams, and external vendors, to ensure all needs are met during the transition.
- Service Transition Planning: Develop detailed transition plans, timelines, and roadmaps, ensuring alignment with the overall project objectives and deadlines.
- Risk Management: Identify and mitigate potential risks and issues that could impact the transition, ensuring minimal disruption to ongoing operations.
- Process Improvement: Ensure that processes being migrated are optimized for efficiency and implement best practices where necessary.
- Budget Management: Manage transition budgets and resources, ensuring cost-effectiveness and financial accountability.
- Change Management: Drive change management initiatives to ensure smooth adaptation to new processes, systems, and workflows for all involved teams.
- Performance Monitoring: Track and report progress against key milestones and success metrics, addressing any deviations in a timely manner.
- Team Leadership: Lead and coordinate cross-functional teams involved in the transition, providing guidance and fostering collaboration.
Requirements that must be met:
- Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in transition management, preferably within the
insurance or financial services industry, with a focus on migrating operations or services to shared service centers.
- Proven track record of managing complex, large-scale transitions. PMP, PRINCE2, or other project management certification is an asset.
- Proven ability to conduct in-depth feasibility studies, develop business cases, and present clear, data-driven recommendations to senior stakeholders.
- Expertise in change management principles and practices, ensuring effective stakeholder engagement and minimal disruption during transitions.
- Strong understanding of insurance operations, including back-office functions, IT, HR, or finance services.
- Ability to analyze complex issues, identify solutions, and drive resolution.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to manage stakeholder expectations and lead teams across multiple geographies.
- Experience in navigating a dynamic, fast-paced environment, with the flexibility to adapt to
changing priorities.
- Proficiency in transition management tools, project management software, and strong
Microsoft Office skills.
- Experience working in a global organization, with a clear understanding of cultural differences and the ability to work with international teams.
- Very good English (min. C1)
- German is a plus
What we offer:
- We are open and honest and we solve problems instead of generating them.
- Maybe it’s obvious, but we really respect our employees and associates. We used to be software developers, too, and we appreciate that job!
- A small team
- An international working environment and international projects
- Private medical care
- Sports card
- Training courses
- Hybrid work in Gdańsk or Warsaw
If you are not sure if you meet the requirements, apply—we’ll talk and give you an honest answer.
